Blake Verbeek, M.A. Counseling Intern*

About Blake

I utilize a person-centered therapy approach. My goal is to foster an environment that promotes personal growth by embodying congruence, unconditional positive regard, and empathy. In my counseling practice, you will have plenty of space to explore your emotions, beliefs, actions, and perspectives.

I am a former college athlete who has participated in various athletic teams. Being involved in athletics has provided me with firsthand experience of the mental exhaustion that athletes, particularly males, encounter, along with the often-limited resources available to them. I strive to help bridge the gap for athletes seeking support.
