Sammy Figurski, M.A., LLP*
About Sammy
Sammy is a Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP), who is passionate about walking alongside individuals, primarily children, and adolescents, that may be dealing with a wide variety of issues. She has experience working in crisis intervention, and a school-based setting providing evidence-based treatments to children and adolescents. She has provided behavioral, cognitive, and biological treatment for anxiety and depression. Additionally, Sammy is highly passionate about the treatment of eating disorders and body image struggles.
Sammy seeks to meet each individual where they are and uses a variety of approaches.
Sammy doesn’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach but considers the whole person, emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical when working with individuals towards insight and healing in whatever circumstance they may be walking through.
Sammy’s goal as a clinician is to help her patients increase their quality of life and lead more fulfilling lives without being confined to the rules that their anxiety, depression, or disordered eating gives them.
