Kella Svoboda, LMSW, CAADC, CCS
About Kella
Kella believes that it takes courage to reach out for help and support when things feel hard, when stress or symptoms take over, or when the coping skills that may have worked for you in the past are no longer serving you.
Kella has 16 years of clinical experience working with individuals struggling with mood disorders, behavioral disorders and substance use disorders. Kella spent 14 years as a therapist and later as the program supervisor at a residential treatment program for women struggling with a variety of substance use disorders and mental health co-occurring disorders. Kella is passionate about working with individuals who want to work towards greater life satisfaction and recovery.
Kella is now working with adult individuals who are suffering from a wide range of anxiety related disorders: OCD, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, phobias, excoriation disorder (skin picking) and trichotillomania disorder (hair pulling).
Kella leads with empathy and acceptance while also reminding you of the change goals you have set for yourself. Kella believes that is the therapeutic relationship and connection that facilitates change and healing. Kella works to provide a non-judgmental environment where you can be your true self, explore, and work towards meeting your self-identified goals.
