About Trisha
Trisha is a Marriage, Couple, and Family Counselor at Integrative Health Consultants of West Michigan. Trisha believes in a holistic approach to therapy, considering the emotional, psychological, physiological, and spiritual wellbeing of each client, and working towards wholeness and healing in both the body and the soul. Trisha has experience in early childhood education, both in public and private sectors, as well as play therapy. Trisha has a heart for individuals, children, couples, and families that are making their way through both the best and most brutal parts of life.
While completing her M.A., Trisha has had the opportunity to take additional coursework in topics such as sex therapy and transgender couple issues, has been trained in the Gottman Method (Level 1) for couples, and is currently working on becoming certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Trisha is currently completing her CACREP accredited training and education at Western Michigan University where she is a member of the Mu Beta Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society (CSI).
