Maria Tenuta, RN, BSN, MSW Student Intern*
About Maria
Maria aspires to provide holistic care that considers each individual as a whole person, integrating mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Maria values building empathetic therapeutic relationships in which her clients are equal participants in their own growth journeys. While utilizing an accepting approach, she recognizes that each person is capable of creating meaningful change in their lives. Within the process of change, she acknowledges that it may come with moments of suffering and self-doubt. Maria creates a safe place to process those moments of suffering, as well as other thoughts, emotions, and life events through a foundation of support.
