About Garrett
Dr. Garrett Weatherhead received his doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. He has 7 years of experience serving adolescents and adults in outpatient, hospital, and community-based settings.
In therapy, Dr. Weatherhead strives to create an atmosphere of warmth, openness, and genuineness. He is interested in how one’s relationships, emotional problem-solving patterns, and cultural contexts impact their current difficulties. He draws from interpersonal, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral approaches to help people reach their therapeutic goals.
Additionally, Dr. Weatherhead has engaged in research and speaking about his interests of athletes and multiculturalism/diversity in therapy.
